Additional Quotation of 269,742 FIL Shares
The South Pacific Stock Exchange is pleased to announce that FijiCare Insurance Limited (FIL) has quoted additional 269,742 shares on the SPSE trading board today, 21st May 2008, through its Dividend Reinvestment Scheme.
FIL declared a dividend payout of $0.04 per share on 10th April 2008 for a total sum of $230,430.96. This was either paid out in cash or reinvested in shares.
FIL’s current market price is $0.65 with a total of 6,030,516 shares now quoted on the board. With the current performance, FIL’s price earning ratio now stands at 6.82 times, a dividend yield of 6.15% and market capitalization of $3.92 million.
FIL first listed on the South Pacific Stock Exchange on 7th December 2000 and is a leading company in providing health, medical evacuation, life and accident insurance in Fiji. Apart from these services, it also offers an outpatient scheme, medical reimbursement and three levels of health insurance covering individuals, couples and family.
